The R. M. Bohart Museum of Entomology, founded in 1946, is located on the University of California, Davis campus. The museum is dedicated to teaching, research and service.

The UC Davis Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital will sponsor the Doggy Dash 5K road race as part of the Golden Valley Harriers Labor Day Races. The eventto be held at 7:45 a.m. in Davis Central Park on September 7, 2015will provide a rare opportunity for both serious and recreational road racers to run a 5K with their dog. Participants are also welcome to walk the 5K with their dog.
