Recent Advances in Viticulture & Enology (RAVE) is our biannual update on the latest research conducted in the Department of Viticulture and Enology.
The 2016 RAVE program, held on December 9 was a sold out event with presentations covering topics from progress in our ongoing grape breeding program, deficit irrigation, and winery wastewater reuse to assessment of vineyard variability through a spatially-explicit selective-harvest approach and ongoing research on the impact of Red Blotch disease on grape and wine composition. Flash talks highlighted the research of selected student research posters.
The entire day's program was videotaped and is available for viewing and sharing here on the department's website.
