Please join me in congratulating Chenxi Guo, a second year Ph.D. student in Dr. Luxin Wang’s Lab, for winning first place in the student poster competition at the Northern California Institute of Food Technologists (NCIFT) annual meeting held on April 23, 2024.
Chenxi’s poster is titled “Insight of microbial communities present in organic dark green leafy juice during refrigerated storage”. This project is focused on identifying the major spoilage microorganisms in juices made with dark leafy greens during refrigerated storage. This project is funded by the California Department of Food and Agriculture (CDFA).
