Graduate student Xiran Li, from Dr. Luxin Wang’s research lab, won first place at the IFT Division Graduate Student Oral Competition 2023 in Chicago. She presented at the Aquatic Food Division; her presentation was titled “Factors shaping microbial communities present on fish and fish products”. (You can read the abstract online.)
