As you may know, UC health plans will be open for enrollment from 10/30/2014 @ 8 a.m. - 11/25/2014 @ 5 p.m. Open Enrollment booklets are expected to be mailed starting 10/24/2014. Changes to the medical plans are few for next year. Still, many employees will be considering a change for 2015. In an effort to help you understand the menu of medical plans that you can choose from during Open Enrollment, we are pleased to offer the following Presentations and Help Desks: 

Presentations for UC Employees: UC Medical Plan Overview 
This presentation will provide information about all of our medical insurance options for 2015. UC medical plan choices will be described, compared, and contrasted: Blue Shield Health Savings PPO, Health Net Blue & Gold HMO, Kaiser Permanente HMO, UC Care PPO, Western Health Advantage HMO, and the catastrophic plan Core Medical. Behavioral health benefits will also be discussed. Reservations are not necessary as availability is first come, first seated. ~ 90 minutes

For individual counseling on UC medical insurancewithout an appointmenta Health Care Facilitator will be available for walk-up service at various times and locations during Open Enrollment. Access to a Facilitator will be first come, first served. Due to the size of the meeting rooms, confidentiality cannot be guaranteed.
