Abstract
Mendota Bioenergy LLC (MBLLC), with assistance of the experts from UC Davis and other leading university, agricultural and technical organizations, is in the process of designing and building a $10.28-million Advanced Biorefinery Center- Mendota Integrated Demonstration Plant (IDP), located at the Red Rock Ranch (RRR) in Five Points, California. The Mendota IDP will use sugar beets as the primary feedstock and produce bioethanol, biogas energy, animal feed and biofertilizer products. It is scheduled to become operational in the fall of 2014, and will provide valuable operational data that will support the development of the Advanced Biorefinery Center-Mendota (ABC-M), a California-based, commercial-scale, biofuel production facility to be located in nearby Mendota, California. In this seminar, the research and development of Mendota IDP and its contributions to the Sustainability in California will be presented.
Coffee and cookies will be served.
