Congratulations to FST’s Dr. Maria Marco and her co-authors on making the March 2021 cover of Nature Reviews Gastroenterology and Hepatology with their article, “The International Scientific Association for Probiotics and Prebiotics (ISAPP) consensus statement on fermented foods”.
The paper was the result of an International Scientific Association for Probiotics and Prebiotics (ISAPP) led effort. Dr. Mary Ellen Sanders, co-author on the paper and founder and the current Executive Science Officer of ISAPP, is a UC Davis Food Science grad (BS, 1977) as well!
