Our 2017 Pete Christensen Wine Grape Short Course was held on December 12 and 13 on the UC Davis campus.  The 2-day program brought a full house of industry winegrape growers and winemakers each day.  The programs were moderated by Cooperative Extension Specialist in Viticulture, Dr. Kaan Kurtural, and included a full range of topics including the latest research on all things vineyard-related. Our speakers came here from all over California, as well as Oregon and Washington. The various seminars were especially helpful since practical applications of the issues are constantly evolving as we learn more about the basic science behind the realities of production.

This program was so popular, and the response so encouraging,  that this 2-day Wine Grape Short Course is being considered as an annual or possibly biennial program.  You can view videos of the entire program, sorted by day and speaker, here:  17-18 Pete Christensen 2-Day Wine Grape Short Course

We hope to see you at one of our programs, either on campus or at one of our On the Road events, when we bring classes to your area. Watch our website for dates and locations.
