Sharon Shoemaker, academic administrator emeritus who retired in 2019, is featured in the November 2025 issue of "Davis Living Magazine". The article, by Pam Thompson, is titled, "Family, Science, and Service in Davis".  Sharon engagingly relates her travels as a young person and her exploration in science that led to her multifaceted career, including her years with UCD Food Science and Technology (from 1991-2019).
