Dr. Bamforth Professor Charles Bamforth, Distinguished Professor, University of California, will be awarded a Doctorate of Science from Heriot Watt University in recognition of his leading contribution to advancements in the study and practice of brewing science over the course of a long and distinguished career. 

The ceremony will be held Friday, June 26 on the Heriot-Watt University campus in Edinburgh, Scotland. Heriot-Watt is a leading UK university for business and industry with an established reputation for world class teaching and pioneering research.
