The UC Davis Farmers Market is designed to promote student health as well as local and campus foods. It is a seasonal on-campus extension of the Davis Farmers Market and runs each Wednesday during fall and spring quarters at the UC Davis North Quad.
The Department of Viticulture and Enology at UC Davis is going "On the Road" to Salinas, CA, bringing some of the latest grape and wine research to other regions around California.
These programs are geared toward wine and winegrape industry professionals. The topics presented in Salinas are mainly viticulture-focused, with one enology-focused presentation titled "Understanding cap extraction in red wine fermentations". We will also introduce our newest faculty member.
