Meditation at UCDHS - August 17

For the 2015 Meditation Series, each month we will explore practical suggestions on how to live a radiantly healthy life. We will learn how to have more energy and vitality, to be receptive, to be relaxed, to recharge the body, calm the mind, open the heart and to have positive, cheerful and wholesome attitudes. These workshops can be for beginners who are just learning about meditation or for people who already make meditation their daily practice.

Fun with Zumba - August 13

Zumba is a fun and simple fitness class that uses high energy Latin/International music and easy to follow dance moves to utilize the principals of aerobic/fitness interval training and resistance training. With a combination of fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body, Zumba is the "feel-happy" workout you have been looking for.

Hawks, Honkers and Hoots - August 13

Kelli is the founder of Hawks, Honkers and Hoots, and has been a rehabilitator at Sierra Wildlife Rescue since 2006. She has always had a passion for animals, from the long-ago days of catching pollywogs and lizards to today  learning to train birds of prey to work with people in educational programs, and has taken classes at UC Davis's California Raptor Center, the University of Minnesota's Raptor Center, and the World Bird Sanctuary. Come meet some of the birds she works with and learn more about raptors (birds of prey) and waterbirds!
