Jill Brigham is the Executive Director of the Sustainable Wine and Food Processing Center at UC Davis, which aims to develop the technologies and processes that will reduce the use of water and energy in the wine, beverage, and food sectors, reduce wastewater and solid wastes, and lower carbon footprints.
VEN's Dr. Dario Cantu part of team to sequence Arabica coffee genome
The first public genome sequence for Coffea arabica, the species responsible for more than 70 percent of global coffee production, was released by researchers at the University of California, Davis including VEN Associate Professor Dario Cantu.
